Best healthcare provider I've seen in St. George! I've lived here since 2014 and seen various doctors as primary care physicians, with generally negative or just okay experiences (doctors who don't listen well, are dismissive, don't follow up, etc.). But Maranda is awesome! This is the first doctor I've seen who I feel like cares about my health and takes it seriously, and who allows me to be more directive with my care (e.g. requesting bloodwork). I had an unknown vitamin deficiency that Maranda addressed which helped me get pregnant after a year of trying. I've continued to see her as my primary. I know she has a lot of patients, but somehow she and the office folks remember me on a personal level (like what I do for work, etc.). I like that it's a small practice and feels really personal. The scheduling is easy and quick, and the office staff respond same day via text to get things scheduled or to relay questions I have to Maranda. Everything feels timely. My only issue was having a pap done and the swab was sent to an out of network provider, resulting in a large bill. Maranda told me how to resolve this, and I ultimately was not charged. As long as I have an insurance provider that covers her, I'll continue to se her.

Robert Porter is a patient at Astra health. A year ago she gave him some bad results from blood work. Over weight, high blood pressure, vitamin d deficiency, pre diabetes, and much more. She told him loss weight or you are going to have a stroke or heart attack. She gave him a diet list of good and bad foods. He followed it to a T lost 76 pds. Check up 1 yr later and Miranda was pleased. Had a little scare with a bad cough but she was very proactive to get this issue resolved as well. Highly recommend Miranda she is an amazing doctor and cares for her patients passionately. Thank you for being so wonderful.
